Robert Laplaca

Robert LaPlaca is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Calvin University, teaching Engineering 101 Lab since September 2023. Alongside academic duties, Robert works at Progressive AE in site development and is employed at Fleis & VandenBrink, where responsibilities include design work, site inspection, and 3D modeling. Robert has also held various roles such as Commercial Diver and Building Manager, and gained early experience as an Engineering Intern for the City of Wyoming, MI. Education was completed at Calvin University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2018.
