Robert McDowell

Robert McDowell has extensive work experience in information technology and management roles. Robert is currently the Director of Information Technology at Progressive Components. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2023, they worked as a Practice Director at Birlasoft, where they managed a $35M program and introduced architectural guidelines. From 2010 to 2018, they served as the Director of Information Technology at Echo Incorporated, overseeing daily activities and implementing strategic vision. Before that, from 2006 to 2010, they worked as an IT Project Manager at Uline, leading a team in a $20M implementation project. Robert also had management roles at Stratys Consulting from 1999 to 2005 and at Accenture Technology Solutions from 1993 to 1999.

Robert McDowell obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Robert attended the university from 1990 to 1992. In addition, they obtained a certification in Project Management (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in August 2007.
