Srikanth Marella

Srikanth Marella has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and business intelligence. Srikanth is currently working as a Principal Analytics Data Engineer at Progressive Leasing. Prior to this role, they served as a Lead Business Intelligence Engineer/Lead Data Engineer at the same company. Before joining Progressive Leasing, Srikanth worked as a Business Intelligence Engineer III/Data Engineer from 2016 to 2019. Srikanth also gained experience as an SQL BI Developer/Sr Data Engineer at Vista Applied Solutions Group Inc. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Before their studies, Srikanth served as an SQL BI Developer at TCS, where they developed SSIS packages and wrote stored procedures and UDFs. Srikanth started their career as an SQL Developer Intern at NTPC Limited.

Srikanth Marella completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at GITAM Deemed University from 2007 to 2011. Srikanth further pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Houston-Clear Lake from 2013 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Srikanth has obtained several certifications. In August 2018, they completed the Python Programming Track at DataCamp. In February 2013, they obtained the certification for "MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" from Microsoft. Subsequently, in May 2015, they received the "Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (70-461)" certification.

More recently, in June 2020, Srikanth obtained the "Hands On Snowflake - WebUI Essentials" certification from Snowflake, and in July 2020, they acquired the SnowPro Core Certification from the same institution.
