Joel Stephens

Joel Stephens has a strong background in mechanical design engineering, with experience in multiple companies. Joel began their career as an intern at Altron Automation Inc in 2006 before transitioning to a full-time role as a Mechanical Design Engineer in 2009. Joel then moved on to Lakewood Process Machinery LLC in 2011, where they continued their work as a Mechanical Design Engineer until 2014. Joel is currently employed as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Progressive Surface, Inc, a position they have held since 2014. Prior to their engineering roles, Joel gained experience as a Co-op Machine Technician at Bosch North America from 2005 to 2006. Additionally, they have customer service experience from their time at Target, where they worked as a Customer Service Representative, Cashier, and Cart Attendant from 2003 to 2005.

Joel Stephens attended Kenowa Hills Public Schools from 2001 to 2005, where they completed their primary and secondary education. Joel then pursued higher education at Kettering University from 2005 to 2009, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Machine Design. In 2012, Joel obtained the Certified SolidWorks Professional certification from Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation.
