Established in 1995 by three pharmacists – Peter Apap, currently CEO and Executive Director, Andrew Paris, an Executive Director, and Non-Executive Director John Jaccarini.

With an ever-growing portfolio of high-quality brands and products under its belt, Prohealth is today at the forefront of the pharmaceuticals and dermo-cosmetic market in pharmacies in Malta and Libya. In more recent years it has strengthened its presence in the medical devices market, leading to the recent acquisition of TrioMed Ltd, a leader in medical equipment and digital health technology, and in the Government Pharmaceutical Tender Business.

As of 1st January 2024, Prohealth proudly announces its appointment as the official local distributor for the Nestlé Health Science and Nestlé Infant Nutrition business (NAN® & Nancare® range) in the Pharma channel.

In January 2024, Chris Gatt was been appointed as the Company’s first CTO to accelerate the company’s development in Digital Technology and Health IT. The Board of Directors consists of Executive Director & Co-Founder Andrew Paris, Non-Executive Director & Co-Founder John Jaccarini, CEO & Co-Founder Peter Apap, CFO & Executive Director Andrew Spiteri Willetts, Non-Executive Director Professor Juanito Camilleri, and Consultant Joseph F.X.
