Rich Carson is the founder and chairman of ProHealth Longevity, which has been operational since 1988. They have dedicated their career to advocating for patients suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and Lyme Disease, focusing on raising awareness, funding research, and providing essential healthcare products. Rich was also the largest, independent fundraiser for ME/CFS research from 1988 to 1998 and successfully led an effort to rename Chronic Fatigue Syndrome to ME/CFS for greater scientific accuracy. Before their work at ProHealth, Rich worked as an investment specialist at Morgan Stanley from 1983 to 1987 and holds a BA in Biology and Communication from UCSB.
