Project Bread
Eileen Wallwork is an experienced professional with a strong background in development operations, project management, and data analysis. Currently serving as the Director of Development Operations at Project Bread since August 2018, Eileen has successfully built a team and maintained real-time gift processing and acknowledgements for a leading non-profit focused on combating hunger in Massachusetts. Prior to this role, Eileen served as Campaign Chair for the Newbury Elementary School GROWS initiative, where Eileen led a committee to successfully create a new playground. Additional experience includes managing annual giving at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, working with imaging technology at Optos, and conducting research as a Research Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital. Eileen holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Cognitive Science from the University of Rochester.

Too many people across Massachusetts are worried about affording enough food. Project Bread works statewide to connect people and communities to programs that meet nutritional needs and alleviate household budgets. Our advocacy is driven by the real-time challenges of people experiencing food insecurity, so we can permanently break the cycle of hunger. - Provide immediate relief to those who are hungry today - Eradicate the systemic causes of hunger From community-based meal programs, to early childhood and school nutrition initiatives, to improved access to farm-to-table and local food resources, we approach hunger as a complex problem with multiple solutions that often work best in combination, and through cooperation and collaboration between communities and organizations.
