Skylar Knight

Skylar Knight is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager at Project Drawdown since July 2023, focusing on increasing awareness and media presence for climate change initiatives. Prior experience includes the role of Managing Editor at bioGraphic, where responsibilities encompassed managing editorial content and social media. Skylar previously held multiple positions at the California Academy of Sciences, culminating as Communications Specialist, leading public relations for biodiversity research initiatives. Additional experience includes roles at Public Library of Science as a Publications Assistant and founding Science on the Rocks, a science news website. Skylar holds a Master of Science in Science Communication from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of San Francisco.
