Eric Weaver

Eric Weaver is a non-profit executive with 35 years of experience in community development finance, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at City First Enterprises. They founded and grew Opportunity Fund, the nation's leading nonprofit micro and small business lender, leading it from its inception in 1992 until 2017, and continuing as a Senior Advisor until 2020. Educated at Harvard University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Eric's leadership facilitated Opportunity Fund's growth to a $20 million operating budget and over $100 million in microloans. They also contribute as a board member for organizations such as Community Vision CA and Project Equity, while offering consulting services to various CDFIs and non-profits. Recently relocating to Ellicott City, Eric remains dedicated to promoting economic and social justice through innovative strategies and partnerships.
