Tyler Rivera

Tyler Rivera is a recent graduate from the Master of City Planning program at MIT, where they focused on housing, community, and economic development. Currently, they are the Policy and Impact Manager at Project Equity, leading policy research initiatives aimed at expanding Black wealth building through employee ownership. Previously, Tyler served as an Associate at Mass Economics and held various roles in youth climate organizing, emphasizing economic justice and participatory democracy. They graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2016 with a B.A. in Geography and Environmental Studies. As a planner and organizer, Tyler is dedicated to creating a more equitable economy that empowers workers and fulfills community needs.
