Peter York

Peter York is currently serving as Chief Data Scientist at Project Evident since November 2025 and holds a faculty position at The Evaluators’ Institute since September 2022, where Peter contributes to enhancing global evaluation practices through high-quality training. As teaching faculty at the International Program for Development Evaluation Training since July 2023, Peter York leads a course on machine learning for evaluators and workshops on integrating machine learning into evaluations. Previously, Peter York was Principal and Chief Data Scientist at BCT Partners, leveraging over 20 years of experience in consulting and research within the evaluation and nonprofit sectors. Other roles include Principal Associate at Community Science, Founder and CEO of Algorhythm, and Senior Partner & Chief Research Officer at TCC Group. Peter York holds an MSSA from Case Western Reserve University and a BS in Psychology from Purdue University.
