Project HOPE
Laura Brye, M.S., serves as the Program Manager for Global Health Latin America and Caribbean at Project HOPE since August 2023, previously holding the position of Senior Program Officer for Global Health Asia and Middle East Region from October 2020 to August 2023. Brye has extensive experience in program development and management, including developing curricula on genomic surveillance, managing CDC-funded Global Health Security programs, and establishing data sharing agreements for health information systems. Prior roles include Senior Technical Advisor for multisectoral nutrition at Helen Keller International/Nepal, Senior Technical Advisor for Health and Nutrition at Adventist Development and Relief Agency, Monitoring and Evaluation Data Officer at Baobab Health Trust, and various positions within the Peace Corps focused on HIV/AIDS capacity building. Brye holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Lesley University and two Master's degrees in Health, with a focus on Global Health, Nutrition, and Public Health from George Mason University.
