Veronica Blackburn

Veronica Blackburn is a seasoned learning and development leader with over a decade of experience in higher education and various sectors. Currently serving as the Program Director at Project Kitty Hawk, they are dedicated to enhancing academic programs for adult learners through collaboration and innovative strategies. Previously, Veronica held roles such as Director of Learning at Elder Research, where they led impactful learning programs, and Instructor of Mathematics and Statistics at Northern Virginia Community College. Veronica also pursued graduate research at the University of Maryland, focusing on the learning experiences of adult learners transitioning into data science. They are currently completing master’s degrees in Mathematics and Statistics and Math Education from Georgetown University and the University of Maryland, respectively, while holding a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia.
