Jett McCandless

Jett McCandless is the CEO and founder of Project44, a leading technology company in the freight and logistics industry. Prior to founding Project44, McCandless was the founder and CEO of CarrierDirect, a management consulting and custom technology development firm focused on transforming the freight and logistics industry. CarrierDirect was recognized as one of the Inc 500 fastest-growing companies in 2016.

Before CarrierDirect, McCandless was the Executive Vice President and Principal at GlobalTranz, where they helped build one of the largest third-party logistics providers in North America.

McCandless has been instrumental in developing some of the most innovative software and business strategies for leading transportation companies such as JB Hunt, FedEx, GE Transportation, Warburg Pincus, and Worldwide Express. Jett has been recognized as one of the top 100 most innovative freight leaders by Freight.Tech in 2018.
