Shawn Lipstein

Shawn Lipstein is an experienced design and strategy professional with a strong background in user experience and product design across several prominent companies. Currently serving as VP of Product Design at project44 since June 2025, Shawn previously held the position of Executive Director, UX and Product Strategy at Moderna, leading innovative design solutions in the healthcare and biotech sectors. As Head of User Experience & Strategy at Amazon Web Services, Shawn managed a multidisciplinary team to enhance the AWS infrastructure. Additional roles include Director of Design at GoDaddy and Caradigm, and Head of UX for Payments at Amazon. Shawn’s career began at Microsoft as a Senior Design Manager, contributing significantly to notable products such as Microsoft Office. Shawn holds a BS in Industrial Design from Carleton University.
