Projecte Laia is an initiative of the Vedanthangal Sangam Association, a non-profit organization that acts as a catalyst for social transformation in disadvantaged communities in India. Since 2005, Projecte Laia has worked to improve the quality of life of the population in Vedanthangal, southern India.

Our programs focus on education and women’s empowerment. 

•	Education: Providing support for children and young women to enhance learning opportunities.  
•	Women’s empowerment: Strengthening the social status and independence of women.

The Projecte Laia structure is made up of volunteers. In this sense, almost 100% of the funds raised are used directly for projects in India.

At Projecte Laia, we are committed to reducing inequalities and fostering inclusive social development. By combining practical interventions with attention to local needs, we aim to create positive change that benefits children, women, and families in the community.
