Kyle Gilday

Kyle Gilday has a strong background in cybersecurity and IT, with experience in various roles and industries. Kyle currently works as a Cybersecurity Engineer II at Projetech, where they are responsible for incident response, access management, penetration testing, and cloud security. Prior to this, Kyle worked as an IT Security Administrator at ProMach and served in the US Air Force Reserve as an INFOSEC/OPSEC Cybersecurity expert. Kyle also worked as a Senior Web Engineer at Zorbas Lawrenceburg Indiana and as a Security Analyst/Researcher at HackerOne. In addition, Kyle has experience as an Application Engineer at TEKsystems, an OSINT Security Analyst at Trace Labs, a System Engineer III at CBTS, and a Desktop Support Analyst II/Adobe System Administrator at The E.W. Scripps Company. Kyle also worked as a Desktop Technician for Great American Insurance Group through TEKsystems. Throughout their various roles, Kyle has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, network protection, risk assessment, and IT support.

Kyle Gilday has a diverse educational background. In 2012, they graduated from Elder High School with a High School Diploma, focusing on General Studies, Computer Programming, and Web Design. In 2019, they attended Khan Academy for a Coding Camp, where they studied Computer Programming and Computer Science for a brief period. During the same year, they also enrolled at American Military University, earning an Associate of Science - AS degree in Database Applications Development from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Kyle has acquired various certifications. In 2019, they obtained certifications in Cybersecurity Foundations, DevOps Foundations, Ethical Hacking: Penetration Testing, and Learning Cyber Incident Response and Digital Forensics from LinkedIn. Kyle also completed courses such as AWS Concepts and AWS Essentials from Linux Academy, as well as Ethical Hacking: Exploits from LinkedIn and Linux Fundamentals from Udemy, all in 2019. Moving on to 2020, they completed training programs in Swift 5 Essential Training, SwiftUI Essential Training, and Xcode 10 Essential Training from LinkedIn.

Kyle continued to expand their expertise in 2022 by earning certifications such as SentinelOne Incident Response, SentinelOne Policy Administrator, and SentinelOne Threat Hunting from SentinelOne. Moreover, they completed certifications in Identity and Access Management and Incident Response from (ISC)². To further enhance their skills, Kyle obtained Confluence Fundamentals Badge, Jira Fundamentals Badge, and Jira Service Management Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in 2022. Lastly, in 2020, they achieved the Administration Foundations certification from Cherwell Software.
