Sven Maenhout

Sven Maenhout has a long history of experience in the medical field. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as Sales Manager for Eastern Europe and the Middle East at Terumo Cardiovascular Systems. Sven then moved to Terumo Heart, Inc. in 2001, where they served as European General Manager. In 2005, they became Marketing Manager for Cardiac Rhythm Management at Sorin Group. From 2008 to 2010, they held the role of International Commercial & Market Access Director at TiGenix. In 2010, they became Director at Recurex. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as Managing Consultant - Recruitment in Life Sciences at Korn Ferry. In 2014, they were Managing Director at Recurex. In 2017, they became Chief Operating Officer at TROD Medical, and in 2018 they became General Manager / Commercial Director Europe at Prolacta Bioscience, where they are currently responsible for team leadership, full P&L, sales and marketing, market access, and business development.

Sven Maenhout began their educational journey in 1988, attending the Antwerp International School until 1992. Sven then moved on to Northwestern University, where they earned a B.S. in Biology and Psychology in 1996. In 2003, Sven continued their education at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, where they earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management in 2005.
