Ryan Hodges

Ryan Hodges, Ph.D., is a Senior Machine Learning Research Scientist with over ten years of experience specializing in biomedical signal processing and algorithm development. They have previously served as a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Valencell, Inc., where they developed patented algorithms that are now used in products by major consumer brands. Their research is focused on enhancing non-invasive health monitoring, particularly through the application of advanced machine learning techniques to wearable devices. Currently, they lead development of PPG-based digital biomarkers for Prolaio's heart health monitoring platform. Ryan completed their PhD in Electrical Engineering at North Carolina State University, where they also earned a Graduate Certificate in Medical Devices.
