Alejandro Fuentes

Alejandro Fuentes has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Alejandro currently serves as the Director of Digitalization at Prolec GE since February 2020. Prior to this, Alejandro held the position of CIO Area Manager International at Ternium from July 2012 to February 2020. Alejandro also served as the IT Manager on SCM & Sales processes Mexico, CIO on Projects, and CIO at Hylsa S. A. de C. from 2001 to 2008. Before joining Ternium, Alejandro worked as a CIO at Hylsa S.A. de C.V. from 1998 to 2000 and as an IT Advisor of the Chairman of INEGI at the National Institute of Statistics and Geography of Mexico from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operations Officer at PEMSA in GRUPO LOGON from January to August 1995. Alejandro's career started at the Secretariat of Economy in 1991, where they worked as an IT Manager.

Alejandro Fuentes earned a Licentiate degree in Information Technology from Universidad del Valle de México from 1989 to 1992. Alejandro later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2002 to 2004.
