Pedro Puente

Pedro Puente is an experienced professional in the fields of technology development, product management, and engineering, currently serving as a Consejero at the Centro de Competitividad de Monterrey since March 2020. With a long-standing tenure at Prolec GE since December 2001, Pedro has held various leadership roles including VP of R&D and Technology Development, where responsibilities encompassed new product development, applied research, and collaboration with research institutes. Additional roles included VP of Power Transformers, overseeing business operations and product development, and earlier positions such as Product Development Manager and Design Team Leader. Pedro's prior experience includes leading product development at GE Lighting and product leadership at Nemak. Pedro holds a degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, along with multiple business management credentials from prestigious institutions such as IPADE Business School and EGADE Business School.
