Aileen McGettrick

Aileen McGettrick currently serves as Chief Scientific Officer and board member at Prolight Diagnostics since October 2023. Previously, Aileen held the position of Head of Product Development at Psyros Diagnostics from June 2018 to September 2023, after co-founding the company in 2018 to create advanced point-of-care diagnostic solutions. Aileen’s experience includes various roles at Novartis, including Group Head of Assay Development and Fellow, as well as leadership positions at Vivacta and Delphic Diagnostics. Aileen began a postdoctoral fellowship at the Joslin Diabetes Center and the University of Oxford, following a robust academic background culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Genetics from the University of Oxford, and also holds a Master of Research in Biotechnology from the University of Kent and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Southampton.
