Paul Monaghan is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the diagnostics and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Prolight Diagnostics since March 2022, Monaghan previously co-founded and held the position of Director at Psyros Diagnostics from May 2018 to March 2022. Prior roles include Senior Research Fellow and R&D Fellow in Systems Engineering at Novartis from January 2013 to May 2018, Group Leader in Systems Engineering at Vivacta Ltd from October 2007 to December 2012, and Post-doctoral Research Assistant at the Bioelectronics Research Group at the University of Glasgow from October 2001 to October 2007. Monaghan earned a PhD in Chemistry from Imperial College London between 1997 and 2000.
