Nathan Sward has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as an Engineering Intern at Drewco Corp. Nathan was responsible for designing workholding fixtures, conducting FEA analysis, and managing prints and documents. In 2008, they worked as a Payload Team Member at Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium, where they designed and built an experiment-oriented payload for NASA's Student Satellite Initiative. In 2009, Nathan joined Plexus Technology Group as an Engineering Intern, where they worked on designing, prototyping, and guiding new products into production. Currently, they are working at Prolitec Inc. as the Director of Engineering, responsible for new product development, research, and development, as well as supporting production through engineering processes.
Nathan Sward obtained a bachelor's degree in philosophy from The Catholic University of America, where they studied from 2003 to 2004. Afterward, they pursued further education at the same institution and completed a Ph.L. degree in Philosophy between 2004 and 2005. Following this, Nathan enrolled in the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where they studied Mechanical Engineering and earned a B.E. degree, from 2006 to 2010.
