Jeff Henise

Principal Scientist, Director of Process Development at Prolynx

Jeff Henise has an extensive work experience. Starting in 1998, they were a Production Supervisor, Machinist, and Product Developer at Noble Industries Inc. where they supervised miniature parts production and optimized production methods. In 2000, they worked as a Laboratory Instructional Assistant at Cabrillo College, where they designed educational experiments and maintained the laboratory inventory. From 2004 to 2011, they worked at the University of California, San Francisco as a Ph.D. student in Chemistry and Chemical Biology, and as a Varian 400 MHz NMR Curator. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Prototype Fabricator and Manufacturing Consultant at Double Dog Moto, conducting prototype fabrication of aftermarket exhaust systems. Lastly, from 2011 to present, they have been a Principal Scientist and Director of Process Development at Prolynx LLC.

Jeff Henise began their educational journey at Cabrillo College, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Chemistry in 2002. Jeff then moved on to the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 2004. Following that, they attended the University of California, San Francisco, earning a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology in 2010.
