Jay Lemke

Jay Lemke has extensive experience in the field of microbiology and molecular biology, currently serving as Senior Research Scientist 2 at Promega Corporation since July 2016, focusing on nucleic acid technologies and genetic identity. Prior to this role, Jay held the position of Scientist at Pan Genome Systems from May 2014 to April 2016 and worked as a Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where investigative efforts centered on the host innate immune response during uropathogenesis from November 2010 to April 2014. Jay's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology and a B.S. in Bacteriology, both obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with graduate studies completed in 2010. Earlier research involvement at the University as a Research Assistant included designing and conducting independent experiments from August 2004 to August 2010.
