Michael Killoran

Michael Killoran is an accomplished Senior Scientist at Promega, specializing in protein engineering, directed evolution, and high-throughput screening techniques, as well as machine learning and bioinformatics. With a robust background that includes co-founding Agri Diagnostics Inc., where bioinformatic algorithms and isothermal assay development were central, Michael has extensive experience at renowned institutions such as the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Michael's expertise also encompasses enzymology, having led significant projects in engineering proteins and developing assays for clinical diagnostics at Alere Inc. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Biomolecular Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Specialized Certificate in Clinical Trials Administration from UC San Diego, and a B.S. in Biology from Coastal Carolina University, where Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude.
