Vanessa Ott

Vanessa Ott serves as Senior Director of Life Sciences Portfolio Strategy and Marketing at Promega Corporation since January 2015, having previously held the position of Director of the Biologics Business Unit. Prior to Promega, Vanessa was Director of Marketing at Fujifilm Cellular Dynamics from 2010 to 2015 and held the role of Senior Product Manager for Global Marketing at Roche NimbleGen Inc. from 2006 to 2010. Academic experience includes serving as Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University from 2004 to 2005 and as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center from 1999 to 2004. Vanessa began their career as a Research Associate at the National Cancer Institute, NIH, after obtaining a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in Biology and Music from Colgate University.
