Ram A.

Ram A. has extensive work experience in the field of data and analytics. Ram started their career as a Senior Manager at Brown & Williamson Tobacco in 1996, where they led projects integrating new content into the Data Warehouse and achieved significant cost savings. Ram then moved on to RJ Reynolds Tobacco, where they served as a Senior Manager accountable for the leadership and mentoring of the Data Warehouse Architecture and ETL teams. During their tenure, they implemented coupon fraud detection systems and established a multi-terabyte Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse.

In 2009, Ram joined Key Risk as a Data Analytics Manager, and in 2012, they became the Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Manager at Martin Marietta. At Martin Marietta, they won an award for an innovative business intelligence initiative and led a team focused on improving BI maturity.

Ram then transitioned to VF Corporation as a Senior Consultant for a brief period before joining KinderCare Education in 2018 as the Director of Data Services. At KinderCare Education, they provided leadership for all data services and successfully transformed the Data Services Team into a self-managing, high-performing team.

Currently, Ram is the Director of Data at Promethean, where they continue to leverage their expertise in collaborative learning and innovative solutions.

Ram A. holds an MBA with a specialization in MIS and International Management from Mercer University - Stetson School of Business and Economics. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Math, Physics, and Chemistry from Mangalore University from 1980 to 1983. Additionally, Ram has obtained certifications in "Effectively Leading Digital Transformation" from LinkedIn and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in 2004.
