Simon Port has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Simon started their career in 1996 as a Shop Manager for Victoria Wine, where they managed a team and sold tickets for the Oxford Bus Tour. Following this, they worked as a Telemarketer for Andrew Lester & Associates and as a Senior Team Leader for Advanced Alchemy, specializing in telemarketing and generating leads for IT clients. Simon then joined Powwow Water as a Sales Executive from 2002 to 2004. Simon also took a break to travel across Western Europe for three months in 2004. After their travels, they worked for NfER Nelson as a Field Sales Executive from 2004 to 2006. Starting in 2006, Simon joined Granada Learning as a Fieldsales Consultant, where they achieved significant sales results and won new business. Simon remained with Granada Learning until 2008 and then moved to Promethean as a Senior Consultant. Over the years, Simon progressed within Promethean and held roles such as Head of Channel Operations and Regional Vice President of Sales, overseeing the UK, Ireland, Asia Pacific, and ANZ regions. Simon is responsible for setting strategies, managing sales teams, and driving performance to achieve company objectives.
