Lance Obrien

Lance O'Brien is an accomplished music industry professional with extensive experience in reggae and Caribbean music. Since January 2006, Lance serves as the Caribbean Series Co-Producer for Promo Only, curating a monthly music service featuring reggae, dancehall, soca, and Caribbean tracks. As President of Kulcha Shok Muzik, a promotions and production company for reggae and surf events, Lance oversees various artists and hosts. Previous roles include writer for When It Hits Music Publishing, host/producer for Island Hoppers TV, and producer/host for the Reggae Vibes radio report. Additionally, Lance worked as an A&R representative for Atlantic Records and as a reggae programmer for Power 96. Education includes a BA in Speech Communications-Radio from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
