Nir Navot

Nir Navot is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in the field of molecular diagnostics. Nir is the founder and CEO of Pronto Diagnostics, a prominent company in the industry, since September 2003. Prior to this, Navot worked as the CEO of Aferrix from January 2004 to January 2010. Nir also served as the CEO of Savyon Diagnostics Ltd. from December 2001 to December 2002. In addition, Navot worked as the Chief Scientist at GamidaGen from 1993 to 1999. Nir began their career as a postdoc at the Weizmann Institute in 1991, and prior to that, they completed their PhD at Hebrew University in 1991. Navot later went on to establish QualiGene Ltd. in 2007, where they currently hold the position of owner and CEO.

Nir Navot's education history begins in 1981 when they attended Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, where they pursued studies in the field of art. Nir then continued their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1983 to 1991, earning a PhD in Molecular Biology, Plant Genetics, and Virology. Following this, they furthered their academic pursuits at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 1991 to 1993, undertaking a Post Doctorate degree in Biology.
