Ben Dolman

CTO & Co-founder at Pronto

Ben Dolman has worked in the tech industry since 2004. Ben began their career at Brigham Young University as a System Analyst in the Division of Continuing Education, where they wrote software systems in ColdFusion. In 2007, they joined Move Networks as a Software Engineer and Web Developer, where they helped to implement adaptive-bitrate streaming on sites like ABC, FOX, ESPN, The CW and Oprah. Ben also built the web player for an Oprah live event. In 2010, they started working at Mozy as a Senior Software Engineer, writing software for Apple platforms. That same year, they also co-founded Bloom Built and created the Day One app, a digital journaling solution. In 2015, they co-founded Pronto, a real-time communications platform for students and teachers in universities and colleges.

Ben Dolman attended Brigham Young University from 1997 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
