Manu Sood

Manu Sood has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years in various roles in software development, project management, product management, and pre-sales. Manu started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Hughes Software System in 2003 and later worked as a Tech Lead at Aricent Group from 2006 to 2010. During their time at Aricent Group, they also served as a Scrum Master, Team Leader, SME, and Pre-Sales Manager. In 2015, they co-owned a company called PixelTriangle until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Technical Project Manager at Mavenir, where they were responsible for customer acceptance testing and resolutions. Currently, they are working as a Product Manager at ProofHub since December 2018. In this role, they help define and manage the product vision, road-map, functionality, and requirements, conducts market research and competitive analysis, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to release and maintain product features.

Manu Sood completed their MCA (Master of Computer Applications) degree from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, where they studied Computer Applications. Manu attended the institute from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Manu Sood has obtained several certifications in various fields. Some of these certifications include "Technical Product Management" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in July 2022, "Redis Labs | RU101: Introduction to Redis Data Structures" from Redis Labs, obtained in March 2021, "Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)" from Scrum.org, obtained in November 2018, and "Agile Meets Design Thinking" from Coursera Course Certificates, obtained in December 2017.
