Jon Aldinger

Jon Aldinger has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and front-end development. Jon has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in leading teams, managing technical roadmaps, and driving architectural changes.

In their most recent role at ProofPilot, Jon serves as the Principal Software Engineer, Frontend, starting in February 2023, where they are currently employed.

Before that, Jon worked at Snapyr as the Chief Architect, Front-End, from May 2022 to February 2023. Jon was responsible for creating, managing, and driving a technical roadmap and front-end guild, collaborating with product and executive leadership to plan and prioritize work.

Prior to their role at Snapyr, Jon was the Vice President of Engineering at Thrive TRM from June 2020 to May 2022, where they managed the Engineering organization, including Software Engineering, DevOps, and QA. Before that, they held the position of Sr. Director, UI Architecture from January 2019 to May 2020.

Jon also gained valuable experience at Monetate, Inc. as a Senior UI Architect from April 2018 to December 2018. During their time there, they led front-end architecture and drove a large-scale migration to a modern React interface. Jon also served as the Director of User Experience from August 2013 to March 2018, where they built and managed a team of UX designers, UI designers, and front-end engineers, creating a design system from Sketch library through React component/style guide build-out.

Additionally, Jon has worked at Poptent as the Principal Front-End Developer from December 2011 to March 2012, leading front-end development and driving an internationalization/localization initiative. Jon also held a role as a Front-End Developer from December 2010 to November 2011.

At WebLinc, Jon worked as a Sr. Front-End Developer from August 2008 to November 2010. Jon helped position the business as a nimble and progressive alternative to enterprise e-commerce platforms, driving the creation of a base system that significantly reduced delivery times. Jon also worked as a Front-End Developer from July 2007 to July 2008.

Jon began their career at Happy Cog as a Front-End Developer from July 2006 to May 2007 and at Electronic Ink, where they worked as a Front-End Developer from April 2005 to June 2006 and as a User Experience Designer from September 2004 to March 2005.

Jon Aldinger attended Drexel University from 2002 to 2006, studying Digital Media. Jon obtained additional certifications, including "Ruby Essential Training: 1 The Basics" in May 2019 from LinkedIn and "Radical Candor (Blinkist)" in April 2019, also from LinkedIn. The degree obtained during their time at Drexel University is unknown.
