Joseph K. has a wealth of experience in the healthcare and clinical research sector. Joseph began their career in 1999 as a Late Stage Medical Program Coordinator at Merck & Co. In 2003, they moved to MDS Pharma Services, where they held the roles of Associate Director of Business Development and Senior Project Leader. In 2006, they returned to Merck, where they served as Group Manager of Global Trial Optimization and Phase I Medical Program Coordinator. In 2009, they became the Director of Site Feasibility and Patient Recruitment at ePharmaSolutions. In 2010, they joined Shire Pharmaceuticals as Director of Clinical Operations, Patient Engagement and Recruitment. In 2014, Joseph joined Eli Lilly and Company, where they served as Senior Advisor of Digital Health Office, Translational Technology & Innovation, Senior Advisor of Patient Experience and Design Innovation, and Senior Advisor of Clinical Innovation. Joseph also hosted three seasons of Lilly's Research podcast, exploring the factors that inspire bold advances in science, innovation and the resilience required to change history. In 2021, they joined Ledger Run, Inc. as an Advisor. Most recently, in 2022, Joseph joined ProofPilot - A Digital Protocol Performance Platform for Research as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. In addition, they have served as a Mentor at Villanova School of Business since 2017.

Joseph K. attended Lehigh University, where they earned a BS in Molecular Biology. Joseph then attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Masters in Secondary Education. Finally, they attended Villanova University, where they earned an MBA.
