Ben McLaughlin is a three-time global CISO and currently serves as the VP & CISO at Proofpoint, where they are responsible for securing the company's products and customers. Previously, Ben held various leadership roles at Seagate Technology, including CIO and CISO for Worldwide Manufacturing, where Ben oversaw significant IT and cybersecurity initiatives across multiple global facilities. As the founder of Contact Light, Ben delivered Virtual CISO and Fractional CIO services to enhance information security and drive digital transformations for several enterprises. Ben is also pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Ulster University.
