Brandon Roper

Brandon Roper is an experienced in-house patent counsel currently serving as Corporate Counsel for IP at Proofpoint. They previously worked as Senior Counsel for Zoom, where they established and led a comprehensive patent program, and as Principal Corporate Counsel at Microsoft, managing extensive US and international patent portfolios. Brandon began their career as an engineering intern at Micron Technology and later honed their legal expertise at Austin, Rapp & Hardman, preparing numerous patent applications. They earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and a law degree from BYU Law School.
