Christopher Baughn, MBA, possesses extensive experience in solutions engineering, having held key positions at Proofpoint since July 2011, including Staff Sales Engineer, Manager of Solutions Engineering for Strategic Accounts, and Principal Systems Engineer. Prior roles include Senior Systems Engineer at WatchGuard Technologies and Credant Technologies, as well as a Technology Consultant at RSA The Security Division of EMC, where contributions involved pre-sales engineering for the RSA enVision product. Christopher also served as a Senior Field Engineer at SecureComputing/CipherTrust and as a Security Architect at Belo, where responsibilities included managing access and application security for a large client base. Notable achievements include a CIO Award nomination in 2005 and leadership in developing Belo’s Identity Management and Single Sign-On Solution. Christopher holds a B.A. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from LSU Shreveport.
