Christy Loerzel

Christy Loerzel is a seasoned communications leader with extensive experience in sales and executive communications. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Sales & Executive Communications at Proofpoint since December 2019, Christy plays a pivotal role in aligning messaging for the Chief Revenue Officer and the Sales Leadership team, focusing on team engagement and readiness. Previously, during a 12-year tenure at Symantec, Christy held several leadership positions including Sr. Director of Global Go-To-Market Communications, where management of a $1.7 million budget and a team of seven was key to standardizing messaging across a global sales organization. Additional roles encompassed strategic advisory functions to the CMO, and the orchestration of global communications strategies supporting the merger between Symantec and Veritas. Christy holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Florida.
