Dan O'Brien

Dan O'Brien is a seasoned professional in channel management with extensive experience in driving growth and expansion through strategic partnerships. Currently serving as the National Channel Manager at Proofpoint since March 2019, O'Brien has focused on aligning corporate objectives with Optiv's Go-To-Market Strategy. Prior to Proofpoint, experience includes roles such as Channel Director for National Partners at Forcepoint, where O'Brien implemented channel strategies for Optiv, and Senior Manager for Channel in the U.S. & Canada at RSA, managing a team of Channel Account Managers. O'Brien also held the position of Manager for the Northeast Area Channel at Symantec Software, overseeing recruitment and training initiatives. O'Brien holds a degree from Boston College, received between 1989 and 1993.
