David Anderson

David Anderson possesses extensive experience in service reliability engineering and IT support, having worked at Proofpoint since November 2015 in various roles, including Staff Service Reliability Engineer, where responsibilities include leading a new Belfast section of the global operations team and managing AWS cloud infrastructure. Prior to Proofpoint, David served as a Self Employed Pyrotechnician at 21cc Fireworks, and held the position of Senior Computing Officer at the University of Edinburgh, overseeing UNIX and storage administration and contributing to the virtualisation team. Additional experience includes roles at Solutions Plus (IT Services) LTD as a Support Engineer and as a Technical Support Analyst at Sky Subscriber Services Ltd. David holds a BSc(HONS) in Chemistry from Heriot-Watt University.
