Dmitry Erikalov

Dmitry Erikalov is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in infrastructure services and backend development. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Proofpoint since March 2015, Dmitry contributes to key systems such as user directory services, authentication, and event management, focusing on scalability and process optimization. Prior experience includes a role as Member of Technical Staff at Walmart eCommerce, where Dmitry developed a high-performance logging and telemetry stack, and at eBay Inc., leading the development of a Platform as a Service (PaaS) for the internal cloud. Dmitry's career began at Healtheon/WebMD, working on kernel modules, and at B&w Software as a software engineer. Dmitry holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Naval Architecture from the State Marine Technical University of St. Petersburg.
