Dr. Bob Hausmann

Dr. Bob Hausmann is an experienced professional in cognitive science and education technology, currently serving as Manager of Learning Architecture & Assessments at Proofpoint since January 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Hausmann spent over a decade at Carnegie Learning, where contributions included positions such as Senior Cognitive Scientist in Math, Cognitive Scientist and Product Manager, Learning Technology Scientist, and Cognitive Scientist. Responsibilities at Carnegie Learning involved content development, cognitive modeling for mathematics curriculum, and collaboration with educators to enhance learning tools. Earlier experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Associate and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on educational experiments and collaborative learning research. Dr. Hausmann holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA in Psychology from Bowling Green State University.
