Guy Sela is a highly experienced software engineer and architect with a diverse background in cybersecurity and software development. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Proofpoint since November 2019, Guy has led the architecture and development of reactive big data systems for cyber security, focusing on protecting cloud SAAS applications. Previously, Guy founded Poker Fighter, an online poker simulator, and held roles at EverC and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where responsibilities included defining and developing high-performing SDN products. Earlier experience includes working with ConteXtream and serving as Project CTO in the Israel Defense Forces, contributing significantly to various software solutions.
