Hugo Daniel Viotti

Hugo Daniel Viotti is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Proofpoint since November 2025, Hugo is responsible for designing and maintaining the company's core data platform and enhancing data pipelines for real-time and batch workloads. Prior to this role, Hugo worked at Muttdata, ascending from Data Developer to Data Engineer and then to Data Tech Lead, where responsibilities included project management, solution design, and the development of data products. Earlier experience includes leading the Technical Support Department at Ingeniería Biomédica, where Hugo implemented ISO 9001 standards and improved productivity through historical data analysis. Hugo also has internship experience as a Data Science and Business Analytics Intern at The Sparks Foundation. Hugo holds a degree from Facultad de Ingeniería at Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos, completed in 2020.
