Jawad Syed

Jawad Syed is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in service reliability engineering and technical consulting. Currently serving as Director of Service Reliability Engineering at Proofpoint since April 2012, Jawad has held various roles including Senior Manager and Team Lead within the company. Previous experience includes positions at IBM Canada Ltd. as Team Lead/Senior Consultant, and senior consulting roles at Buchanan Technologies and CI Investments Inc. Jawad's early career featured roles in infrastructure consultation and technical support at companies such as Computer Network Systems Limited and ITQAN in the UAE. Academically, Jawad holds a Master of Science in IT Management from Capella University and a certificate in Full Stack Web Development from the University of Toronto.
