Jeremy Hedges

Jeremy Hedges is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in malware analysis and incident response. Currently serving as a Staff Security Research Engineer at Proofpoint since January 2017, Jeremy has made significant contributions to threat intelligence and malware analysis automation. Previous roles include Senior Systems Security Analyst at T. Rowe Price, where Jeremy developed SEIM content and improved incident response capabilities, and a Contractor at TEKsystems, where innovations in dynamic malware analysis and custom reporting were achieved. Jeremy has also worked as a Cyber Systems Administrator at CGI Federal, focusing on VPN connections and administrative automation, and has held various positions in educational settings, reinforcing cybersecurity knowledge among students while managing lab environments. A graduate of Capitol Technology University, Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Assurance and has furthered education through the SANS Institute.
