Jim Schmidt

Jim Schmidt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in system engineering and sales engineering. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at Proofpoint since December 2022, Schmidt has held various technical and leadership roles across multiple companies, including Flosum, Fortinet, and Infoblox. Notable experience includes developing sales engineering processes at US Signal and designing LAN and WAN infrastructure at Spectrum Health. Schmidt began a career in systems engineering at Nortel Networks and Digital Equipment Corporation following a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
