John Burns

John Burns is an experienced software engineer with a strong focus on web development and architecture engineering. Since September 2014, John has held various positions at Proofpoint, currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer in Architecture Engineering, primarily working with ReactJS for Proofpoint Enterprise, a cloud-based security application. Prior to this role, John gained extensive experience as a Freelancer and worked at several companies, including The Tomorrow Lab, Quantus Software Services, Blue Cube Interactive, and Cronin Designs, developing technical solutions and applications using various technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. John holds a BSc in Interactive Multimedia Design from Ulster University and has a solid educational background from St Malachys High School.
